History of the Pennsylvania Morgan Horse Club

 
 

On January 21, 1973 forty five people attended the first meeting of PA, Morgan Horse supporters, at John Greenall's, New Tripoli, Pa. The meeting was conducted by John Greenall and Gary Shenk. A steering committee was formed to write By-Laws for the purposed club. This committee was composed of John Greenall, Susan Trotto, Emily Hosey and Carleton and Elizabeth Howell.

Fifty people attended the second meeting on February 25, 1973. The report of the steering committee was presented and accepted. Officers were nominated and elected. The first board of directors were: President: Dick Goerlitz, Vice President: R. Kenneth Faust, Secretary / Treasurer: Gail Rhen, Directors: John Greenall & Dr. Earl Weber.

Procedures were taken to incorporate in February 1974. So began the Pa Morgan Horse Club Inc. Thirty two Senior members and fourJunior members and total assests of $68.00.
